During the month of July, we held a book drive for the Lake Arthur Public School District. We had wonderful support from our community and were able to donate 1,961 books to the Lake Arthur Public Schools (grades PreK-12) and give 188 Christian infant and preschool books to Hermosa Bright Beginnings Preschool! Thank you to everyone who donated books, bought books off the Amazon wishlist page to donate and gave monetary donations for our book drive! The children and teachers were so excited to receive these books for their classrooms and school libraries. 
We would like to also thank all the volunteers that helped sort and place reading levels on books, pack all 2,079 books into 30 boxes (yes that's right!!!), and load, unload, and deliver them.  Thank you, Olivia, Ethan, and Megan Bunt; Carrie and Crit Caton; Tate, Marleigh, Kassidy, and Houston Branch; MacKenna Smoot, Pastor Michael Duff and his fantastic loading crew from Faith Baptist Youth-Kyler Beltran, Alex Madrid, and Matthew Soto.
